Patience Moves Mountains

by Mitch Kuhn
Lord I want it, you know I do
For this trial to be through
I want my brothers and sisters to be set free
But that is not up to me
The Lord will not move the mountain
Until Patience flows like a fountain
Standing in quick sand
The more I fight the less I stand
Deeper and deeper do I go
Reaping exactly what I sow
Pressuring others is not the cure
Of this the Lord makes sure
Cast you seed into the ground
And one day fruit will be found
Patiently wait for the rain
and victory you will gain
No one is saved by the eloquence of your preaching
It is the Lord that does the teaching
So do what you can and then relax
And watch your enemies melt like wax
